We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Sales Operations Analyst to join our Commercial Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations and will be responsible for optimizing our sales reporting and driving strategic initiatives. This role will work closely with Commercial leadership, marketing, finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support our growth objectives.
What you'll be doing:
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive sales reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline health, and key metrics. Present findings to senior leadership;
- Forecasting and Planning: Support sales forecasting and planning activities by providing accurate data analysis and insights. Collaborate with sales leadership to develop sales targets and quotas;
- CRM Management: Contribute to the administration and optimization of the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce). Ensure data integrity, implement enhancements, and provide training to sales teams;
- Territory Building: Develop and optimize sales territories to ensure balanced distribution of opportunities and resources. Analyze territory performance and make data-driven adjustments to maximize sales coverage and effectiveness;
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis;
- Strategic Initiatives: Lead and participate in strategic projects and initiatives aimed at driving sales growth and operational efficiency;
- Data Management and Administration: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in data structures. Create and maintain single-source-of-truth data tables.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, preferably in the SaaS industry;
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights;
- High-level of competence in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools (e.g., Clari);
- Excellent Google Sheets and data visualization skills (e.g., CRM Analytics).
- Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to various stakeholders;
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
