About the team

The GTM Industries, Alliances and Channel team is focused on ensuring that Stripe is the market leading financial infrastructure platform within each of our high priority industry verticals; financial services, insurance, retail, media, gaming, travel, hospitality, and healthcare. Core to this mission is to build and grow a world class GTM partner ecosystem including services firms, advisors, technology and SaaS Platforms. We engage with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders, including our customers' most senior executives to win light house accounts, grow share of wallet, and deliver industry thought leadership; anchored on value creation and user outcomes.

The team drives GTM strategy and execution to build top of funnel opportunities based on customer need and value, with and through our partners. We develop and deliver vertical solution use cases and thought leadership tailored to each industry; combining Stripe’s native products, industry leading technology and SaaS platforms along with services delivery expertise via Stripe proserve and SI partners. This team works directly with our customers, field sales teams and partners to win lighthouse industry users leading to a scaled sales execution across our full suite of products.

Additionally, we take user/partner feedback to influence and guide Stripe’s product roadmap and broader marketing and sales efforts; working with the most Sr. leaders in these functions. The team develops a deep understanding of our users critical business needs, mapping these to Stripe’s current platform capabilities via cross product use cases and value based solution propositions. The team also works extensively with third party technology and services partners to define, sell and deliver transformational solutions that combine the best of Stripe with our partner’s industry IP and services delivery expertise.

What you’ll do

As the Global Program Manager, you will work with a broad set of internal stakeholders within the team and across all functions of Stripe. You will manage strategic program initiatives working with the IAC leaders, including steercos (enterprise engine, co-selling, partner activations, etc), deal win reviews, deal loss reviews, partner events (e.g. Sessions) along with key initiatives to improve efficiency and output results. You will prepare strategy and various business review documents providing insights and recommendations and will engage with select partners and users to provide critical and creative thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple IAC and cross functional programs.
  • Support the top leaders with strategy and reporting presentations
  • Lead IAC event messaging and program including Sessions and Tours
  • Conduct partner specific deal won/loss reviews.
  • Contribute to the structuring of complex partnership agreements and business model constructs.
  • Write and deliver internal and external communications
  • Lead the A&C Executive Sponsor program
  • Program manager steerco initiatives including Enterprise Engine
  • Engage select key partners and users to gather insights and recommendations
  • Engage cross functional teams to promote IAC and gather feedback
  • Dive deep into Stripe’s product offerings, pricing and deal structures
  • Identify new/emerging partner segments and opportunities
  • Work with SSO on annual planning and ROTB reviews
  • Lead optimization initiatives using AI and process improvement
  • Manage special projects including using AI to drive IAC efficiency and innovation

Who you are

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of program management experience working for technology and/or consulting companies. You will be a self starter, highly organized with demonstrable experience running multiple parallel projects with clear objectives and outcomes.

You will have excellent writing and presentation development skills, with the ability to summarize key learnings in a digestible and actionable manner. You will be skilled in using AI and related tools and systems to drive efficiency and innovation.

Minimum requirements

  • 7+ years or program management experience working for technology companies
  • Action oriented strategic thinker
  • Demonstrated experience running multiple complex projects in parallel.
  • Deep experience working with cross functional teams.
  • Experience working with field sales and partner teams
  • Experience using AI tools to innovate and simplify
  • Strong operational background using data and analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in Fintech, Payments, Billing and/or Security
  • Experience working with/for large complex technology platforms
  • Experience working in a startup environment

  • Experience supporting global teams
  • Masters in Computer Science and/or Business Administration
A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $172,200 - $258,200. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
