About the team

Stripe’s Partner Products team builds and supports products that help our users connect with partners while enabling us to engage with partners at scale. These include our partner portal and partner directory. The partner portal provides a way to engage partners - including systems integrators, payment method partners, app developers and more - in a self-serve way, with access to content, incentives, co-sell tools and more. Stripe’s Partner Directory helps users find partner solutions and connect with partners.

What you’ll do

As a Product Manager on our Global Partnerships Partner Products team, you will champion the needs of our partners - both mature and emerging - to provide an exceptional experience with Stripe. You will deliver improvements and features that help ensure friction-free workflows and optimize outcomes for Stripe and our partners. You will work with partners and stakeholders to identify and prioritize bug fixes or feature enhancements and work with internal Stripe engineering and external partners to develop and launch bug fixes and features quickly. This role will be based in Stripe's Seattle office.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and develop features that support our product strategy.
  • Manage UAT process (user acceptance testing) for launches.
  • Triage and oversee bug fixes and maintain and address friction logs.
  • Perform product research and discovery including talking to partners/users in order to incorporate their perspectives into what we are building.
  • Write user stories and documentation.
  • Conduct basic data analysis to understand impact and make data-driven decisions
  • Proactively plan how product changes will be measured by defining metrics, ensuring data availability, and setting up the right evaluation frameworks to measure success.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders representing Stripe partner types (e.g. Local Payment Methods, Systems Integrators, Distribution Partners, etc)

Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years Product Management experience in a high-tech company.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer/partner problems.
  • Has demonstrated success building relationships and confidence with stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting a partner ecosystem and developing and managing a partner portal or other partner tooling is a plus.
  • Technical aptitude for problem solving and ability to understand technical challenges.
  • Innate curiosity and eagerness to learn.
  • Brings a desire for continuous product improvement.
  • Takes an ownership mindset and works on whatever it takes to solve problems and delight partners.
  • Can put themselves in the shoes of partners and be a steward of crafting great experiences.
  • Can dig deep into the data, think from first principles, and deliver the right results.
  • Has the ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $146,400 - $219,600. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
