About the team

In this role, you’d be joining the Workplace Team which is part of the Finance and Workplace organization, and would lead a team of high-performing program managers responsible for establishing and maintaining key programs and processes used by the Workplace Team. The Workplace team’s mission is to build and operate work environments that are welcoming, comfortable, and intuitive; supportive of collaboration, wellbeing, and productivity; and centered around the rigorous safety, security, and confidentiality we employ as a financial services company.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with leadership, project sponsors, and cross functional stakeholders to manage workplace programs or projects - from inception to delivery - including developing scope, deliverables, required resources, project briefs, budget and timelines
  • Support or own the management of Workplace Programs such as Remote Workplace Programs, Onsites and Events, Transportation, Environmental Health and Safety, and Food.
  • Management of special projects
  • Work on cross-cutting projects to drive operational excellence on the Workplace Team and to help us evolve and improve upon the orgs processes and policies.
  • Manage project or program teams, coordinating and delegating project initiatives, driving accountability while delivering successful outcomes with all involved stakeholders
  • Develop and manage annual project or program budgets and be accountable for delivering against established goals.
  • Work with other program managers to identify risk and opportunities across multiple projects within the org.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for leadership, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Management of vendors including negotiation and development of agreements, SOWs and QBRs.
  • Develop and maintain programmatic materials and resources
  • Develop ongoing maintenance plans for incorporating on-going program updates
  • Facilitate (or participate in) project and team retrospectives to collect feedback, draw out lessons learned, and document best practices

Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management
  • You have exceptional communication skills (in-person, virtual, and written), and an ability to seamlessly interact with and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization
  • You enjoy navigating complex projects and challenges, and thrive in incrementally bringing clarity to ambiguous situations
  • Proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with cross functional partners.
  • Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, project management, facilitation, and organization
  • Experience managing budgets and vendors
  • Experience managing cross functional and cross geo stakeholders
  • Experience in developing a business case and proposal writing
  • Understanding of change management concepts and how to apply them.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in a high growth technology company
  • Experience with Workplace, Real Estate or People Programs
  • Understanding of project management frameworks and software such as Asana, Monday, AirTable and/or Smartsheets
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $168,000 - $252,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
