About the team
Product Capital Markets Team
Stripe’s Product Capital Markets team within Capital Markets is responsible for building and executing the funding strategy for our Capital loans and other financial products. We partner closely with Stripe's engineering, data science, risk, product, and servicing teams to develop creative solutions to optimize our funding channels. We liaise with cross-functional partners across accounting, finance and strategy and tax to execute on our roadmap.
What you’ll do
We’re looking for a creative, smart, and driven individual to execute on our funding strategy. Candidates should have broad experience with financing transactions, acquired either working at a bank or a fintech, as well as experience managing investor relationships and working with alternative lenders. The candidate should be curious and open to learning other capital markets areas, such as risk management, investments or corporate financing. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and interpersonal skills, and the desire to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, providing financing for merchant loans and other capital products. Manage ongoing investor communications and information requests
- Coordinate with investors, lending partners and financing counterparties throughout the onboarding phase, and drive due diligence and internal review processes
- Develop and update marketing materials for use with prospective investors
- Build and monitor dashboards and reports to track sales, performance statistics and adherence to contractual requirements
- Review and assist in the development of transaction documents in collaboration with legal teams
- Coordinate across Product, Finance & Strategy, and Credit/Risk teams to drive Capital Markets initiatives
- Support as needed other Capital Markets projects and initiatives
Who you are

Minimum requirements
- 3+ years of exposure to debt capital markets at an ABS issuer (including online lending platforms), an investment bank (FIG/Fintech advisory or ABS banking/trading role), alternative lender, hedge fund, asset manager, rating agency, or law firm structuring and executing ABS financing transactions, including warehouse facilities, loan sales / forward flow, and/or securitizations
- Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced and often ambiguous work environment
- Clear communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent analytical skill; ability to leverage data insights into a dynamic narrative
- Project management capability and high attention to detail
- Experience with SQL or Python or additional background managing liquidity investments is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
The annual US base salary range for this role is $136,000 - $204,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
