As the Director of Data Science at Stori, you will be pivotal in shaping and driving the data science strategy to align with and enhance our business objectives. This position is designed for a visionary leader who can bridge the gap between advanced data science techniques and practical business applications, ensuring that data-driven insights translate into tangible business outcomes. Requirements:

Educational Background:

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

• Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in data science or a related field, with significant experience in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of applying data science techniques to solve real-world business problems and drive business outcomes.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and experience with big data technologies like Databricks and Spark.

Business Acumen:

• Deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical business applications.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
