The Role: The Internal Communications Intern will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of internal communication initiatives that engage employees and foster a strong company culture. This role involves designing and implementing internal campaigns through various channels such as emails, newsletters, intranet, townhall meetings, multimedia content, and other events. The intern will collaborate with different teams, participate in content creation, assist in events coordination, and ensure that communication efforts align with company goals.

The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication skills, design capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. They should also have basic experience in livestreaming, and campaign management.

Hard Skills

• Communication Skills: Strong writing and editing skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to convey messages clearly and engagingly.
• Design Skills: Medium proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva to create various forms of content (e.g., graphics, banners, headers, gifs, videos) complying with our brand guidelines.
• Livestreaming Skills: Basic knowledge of livestreaming tools and platforms to assist in broadcasting internal events, town halls, or training sessions to remote & on-site employees.
• Digital Tools: Basic knowledge in using communication tools, such as intranets (Wix, Wordpress, Squarespace), email platforms (CRM tools like Beefree or Mailchimp are a plus), and social media (Slack) for internal communications.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in executing internal communication strategies to foster employee engagement, alignment with business goals, and a strong company culture.
• Assist in executing employee engagement activities, such as town halls, company-wide announcements, newsletters, and internal campaigns.
• Support the design and distribution of multimedia content (e.g., emails, intranet articles, videos) to keep employees informed and connected.
• Help coordinate logistics for internal events and training sessions, ensuring smooth execution and employee participation.
• Help updating internal communication channels, such as intranet and on-site TVs, updating content regularly.
• Assistance on our Super Storians employee recognition program (Reminders, notifications to winners, Stori merchandising and more).
