Main Responsibilities
As a customer-centered company, customer understanding is the top mission of quantitative analysts at Stori. Stori quant analysts and leaders use Data above all else to achieve this. This role will be part of the rapidly-growing and fast-paced Treasury and Capital Markets team which is responsible for the company’s balance sheet management, funding strategies, and financial risk management.
This role will have the opportunity to initiate and build out the foundation of our balance sheet data and modeling solutions and will provide key data insights to influence business decisions by using advanced data analysis, modeling techniques and the latest cloud computing technologies. You will be challenged on multiple fronts, including end to end Model Development, Problem solving and Thought Leadership.
Model Development:
Collaborate with Finance, business and data partners to understand our balance sheet management imperatives and initiatives
- Explore and analyze data sources that impact cash flows across the company; implement solutions to enhance cash flow forecasting
- Partner with the data analytics and engineering teams to recommend and develop the data pipeline to source balance sheet data across the firm in an efficient and timely manner
- Build, demonstrate and maintain modeling solutions from end to end to measure, report and visualize our liquidity and market risk exposures and perform stress testing
- Lead cross-disciplinary efforts to explore, design and implement fund transfer pricing methodology and solutions
- Explore and evaluate new modeling techniques and data sources for continuous model improvements
Problem Solving
In a fast-growth business environment, day-to-day, you and the team might face different ad-hoc challenges in the domain areas. As a quantitative lead, you will be expected to make judgment calls and solve the problems together with the partners

As a quantitative analyst in the Treasury and Capital Markets function at Stori, you will be challenged with dynamic business problems in balance sheet management and strategies. Basic Qualifications.
- Master degree in Statistics, Applied Math, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Business or other quantitative fields
- At least 4 years of working experience with Python and SQL programming for data analysis
- At least 4 years of working experience with financial modeling, econometrics modeling and/or machine learning
- At least 4 years of working experience in financial services or banking industry, preferably in Treasury and capital markets areas
- At least 4 years of experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets
- At least 2 years of system and/or model implementation
- At least 2 years of project management experiences
- Experience of independently driving financial modeling projects from end to end
- Working experience with AWS, or other equivalent cloud services. Familiar with the usage of cloud storage such as S3, cloud computation environment such as EC2 and machine learning platforms such as sagemaker.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially around analytical concepts and methods
- Self-motivated and willing to work in a fast pace environment to meet tight deadlines with proactiveness, decisiveness and flexibility
Preferred Qualifications.
- Modeling and analytics experience in balance sheet management, Treasury and capital markets and fund transfer pricing methodologies
- Familiarity with financial statements and accounting
- Proven track record in managing data scientist and machine learning modeling projects
