II - About the Platform team
The platform team at Stori plays a crucial role in supporting all business units by providing transversal, tech-driven services that ensure seamless integration across the organization. They manage and enhance the integration to the core banking infrastructure, oversee user data management, facilitate payments, and support the operations of Stori Cards and Finance Integrations, ensuring that the company's diverse offerings function cohesively and efficiently.
III - About the Role
As the Product Lead (PL) for the Finance team, you will be at the helm of driving the selection, implementation, integration and optimization of financial tools that are critical to the seamless operation of our business. Your role will involve leading the strategy, development, and execution of implementation and integration initiatives, ensuring that our ERP systems, reconciliation tools, planning and reporting solutions, treasury management systems, procurement to pay systems and other financial applications work together harmoniously. You will also be responsible for analyzing automation opportunities within the finance team, prioritize them and lead the implementation together with the process owners. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, data analytics, and external partners, to deliver robust financial solutions.
You will be responsible for:
- Implementation and integration Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for selecting, implementing and integrating various financial tools, such as ERP systems, reconciliation platforms, treasury and procurement solutions, planning and reporting systems and ad-hoc automations, that align with the company’s financial goals. Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes, market trends, and competitor capabilities to identify integration opportunities and create a clear roadmap.
- Tool Optimization: Lead the continuous improvement and optimization of financial tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Work with engineering and finance teams to define technical requirements, integration protocols, and data management processes.
- Analytical Excellence: Leverage your strong analytical background to analyze financial data, monitor integration performance, and identify areas for improvement. Ensure that all tools provide accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights to stakeholders.
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of financial solutions implementation and integration projects. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure that all milestones are met. Proactively address any challenges that arise during the integration process.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance, operations, and executive teams to understand their needs and ensure that integration projects meet business requirements. Communicate progress, risks, and results effectively to stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring: Post-launch, continuously monitor the performance of integrated financial systems. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions on further enhancements and optimizations.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that all financial integrations comply with regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of data security. Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to financial regulations.
- Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to financial integrations. Use this knowledge to drive innovation, improve processes, and maintain a competitive edge in financial operations.
Your mission will be to lead and empower the Finance team in developing and maintaining a robust, integrated financial infrastructure that supports the company’s strategic objectives, allows the company to scale efficiently 10X and enables informed decision-making at every level.
IV - What we are looking for:
- Proven experience (4+ years) in product management, specifically leading the development of customer service tools or related SaaS products.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes and challenges, with a focus on optimizing workflows and improving user experiences.
- Proven experience in managing agile squads and expertise in using Jira for task tracking and project management.
- Demonstrated success in driving product development from concept to launch, and managing product lifecycles.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in utilizing analytics and user insights to inform product decisions.
- Strong understanding of various system integration methods, including H2H, APIs, SFTPs, and other data exchange protocols.
- Knowledge and experience with financial tools such as Netsuite, Quicksight, Simetrik, Coupa, Clara, Ramp, Kyriba, FIS Treasury, Anaplan, Pigment and/or other CFO product suite.
