As the IC Manager, your job is to build a strong culture of collaboration to create experiences that engage, connect and inspire the community of employees!
You’ll be working to help employees across the organization stay up to date about the company’s vision, goals, projects and executive updates by leading strategic internal and executive communications programs. You will work across teams including Marketing, Human Resources, Product, Sales, and Engineering to support the brand mission and evolve brand story. You need to be a skilled storyteller with a knack for interpersonal skills and a passion for creating experiences.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop the strategy for internal communications, accounting for all sites and audiences.
- Align internal and executive messaging with the company’s vision, mission and product positioning.
- Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
- Work in close partnership with stakeholders in Marketing, Product, and Leadership to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery.
- Develop and author a variety of internal and executive communications including presentations, announcements, blogs to be delivered across a variety of communications channels. You will need to work on the layout of content.
- Manage the company’s internal communications channels: Maintain the editorial calendar (blogs, newsletters, staff intranet, etc), research and develop quotes from people, write stories, shoot videos, and contribute to the Intranet.
- Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form.
- Use social media to communicate with staff internally
- Deliver presentations at organizational events, such as the company’s All Hands Meeting.
- Support leadership in company meetings: You will help craft the messaging and program through agenda, speaker selection and logistics.
- Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly
- Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation
- Advise senior executives of developments throughout the organization.
- Possesses outstanding oral and written communications skills including superior writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups.

- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Design skills. Use of Canva and other design tools.
- Highly motivated, persuasive, priority-driven and collaborative.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with partners, stakeholders and staff at all levels.
