About the Role
Stacks is looking for a fiercely ambitious, entrepreneurial, and commercially driven Marketer to join our founding team in Amsterdam as our first marketing hire.
In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate closely with our founder to create and execute our GTM strategy at Stacks. If you’re excited by the idea of limitless growth and fast-paced challenges, this is a unique opportunity to accelerate your career as you help shape the future of Stacks.
🧱 What You'll Do
Drive Revenue: Take ownership of driving revenue growth by managing every aspect of marketing — from lead generation and nurturing, brand awareness and customer acquisition—with a focus on mid-market and enterprise tech businesses (300-5,000 employees).
Own marketing: Iterate and execute on a high-impact, pragmatic marketing effort to drive revenue growth. Collaborate closely with the founder, product, sales, and customer success teams for maximum impact
Generate standout content: Manage and lead the charge on all marketing content, including website copy, blog posts, white papers, case studies, and social media posts.
Build and optimize digital marketing: Implement and optimize digital marketing effort across all relevant channels, including website, SEO, email marketing, paid, and social media. Manage and optimize lead nurturing processes through various channels.
Drive presence in high-impact events: Oversee the creation and execution of marketing events, webinars in our own right or in conjunction with partners
Support network expansion: Build and nurture relationships with industry influencers, partners, and media outlets, Help manage relationships with outside agencies
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product and engineering teams to translate market feedback into actionable insights, and support product launches
Strategic Impact: As one of our first GTM hires, you’ll have a high-impact, strategic role and will help us expand globally by building future marketing teams. At Stacks, growth is merit-based—your achievements here have no limits.
🧩 What You Need
3-7 Years of SaaS Growth / Demand Gen Experience: Proven track record in a quota-carrying, full-cycle sales role with expertise in prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing deals with mid-market and enterprise clients.
Product Intuition: Quick to grasp complex products, with the ability to understand our offering in depth and present it with confidence.
Entrepreneurial Drive: You’re motivated by ambitious goals, resilient, and ready to put in the hard work needed to build something from the ground up. You thrive in high-stakes environments, aiming for the highest levels of success.
Proven Record of Excellence: A history of outstanding performance in previous roles, academics, sports, or other pursuits, showcasing your commitment, grit, and ability to deliver results.
Adaptability: Flexibility and resilience in a fast-evolving startup environment, with the readiness to adapt as we grow and change.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Clear, persuasive, and concise verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and strategies.
