Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented People Operations Specialist with a strong focus on Payroll and Benefits. In this role, you will ensure our most important asset - our people - are paid accurately and on time, while managing the perks that make their lives better. You will also act as a key technical contributor for testing any new workflow in our systems (HRIS tool: Hibob and our internal Pigment App).

What You'll Do:

  • Payroll Management: Processing of monthly payroll along with a third party-provider, ensuring 100% accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and timely distribution.

  • Benefits Administration: Manage and audit employee benefits programs (health insurance, pensions such as 401K, etc.), acting as the main point of contact for providers and employees.

  • Systems & Workflows: Serve as a power user for Hibob and Pigment App. You will be responsible for workflow testing, ensuring data flows seamlessly between platforms and help identifying automation opportunities to be implemented in collaboration with your manager.

  • Compliance & Reporting: Maintain precise payroll records and generate reports for the finance team to assist with budget forecasting.

  • Your scope will primarily focus on North America (USA & Canada), the UK and the management of EOR providers.

    This is a non-exhaustive list. We’re a growing team, and your scope may expand as we scale.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 3 years in USA & Canada payroll

  • Proven experience in payroll and benefits administration within the scope defined.

  • You are rigorous, and have good attention to detail.

  • You have strong prioritization skills & solution-oriented mindset.

  • You have strong analytical skills and a "test-and-learn" mindset for HR software.

  • High level of discretion and sensitivity toward confidential data.

  • Proven agility and the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-growing and international environment.

  • Used to work with a third party payroll provider

  • Experience with international payroll is a major asset
