The impact you can have
As the Director of Sales Analytics, you will be an integral member of our Sales Operations team and will be responsible for leading the development and execution of data-driven strategies to drive growth and revenue for the organization. You will partner with cross-functional teams including sales operations, sales, marketing, customer success, product, and finance to understand business goals and identify key areas for improvement. You will have the opportunity to drive the design and implementation of data models based on the needs of the entire Sales Team. Finally, you will also be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics and reporting frameworks to support decision-making across the organization.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Take ownership of the data of the entire Sales Team
  • As the Sales organization designs new processes and adds new tooling, you will determine what data could be produced, and how this data could be used internally to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Create the domain's data products following Data Mesh principles and be accountable for them in delivering value, satisfying, and growing the data users
  • Create the DBT data models that will sustain your data products
  • Create the Tableau Dashboards your product team needs
  • Represent your domain in the federated data governance
  • Collaborate strongly with the Data Platform team and the other Data Products Owners to improve the data platform and share best practices

The skills you will demonstrate

  • A solid experience in data modeling, SQL queries, dashboarding, data lake, etc.
  • Knowledge of dbt is a plus.
  • Proficient in visualization tools such as Tableau or AWS Quicksight, for example.
  • Experience in software product management, preferably in an agile context.
  • Knowledge in Python, Git, Jupyter and basic data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Domain Driven Design, Data Mesh, and Data Products is a strong asset.
  • See yourself as a data promoter.
  • Motivated by both technical and functional aspects of data-related topics.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and organized team player.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience working with a SaaS company; high-growth startup experience a plus
  • Understanding of and ability to articulate trends in churn, expansion, ARR, LTV, CAC, etc.
  • Superior skills in Tableau, along with exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to independently identify problems, understand the needs of the business, propose solutions and execute those solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, economics, statistics, or engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in running analytics function, with a strong track record of driving business growth and revenue through data-driven strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings and recommendations to diverse audiences
