We are looking for a Procurement Associate to join our Finance team! As a member of the Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Risk Management & Insurance team, you’ll play a key role in sourcing new vendors, contract negotiations, contract management, partnering with best-in-class suppliers, and building relationships that deliver value to Snap Inc. Working from our Santa Monica Headquarters, you will work alongside our internal global business stakeholders to develop relationships with suppliers that will help us scale and drive value for Snap by executing procurement activities in a timely manner and limiting risk for Snap.


What You’ll Do:

  • Work cross-functionally with internal business partners at Snap with a solid understanding of their strategies and priorities.

  • Support the Procurement/Strategic Sourcing team and cross-functional teams on special projects and general administrative tasks.

  • Support contract negotiations and renewals across Snap business teams.

  • Lead end-to-end RFx services that generate value, including performance of requirements and data gathering with business partners through to project closure

  • Evaluate vendor performance and maintain vendor relationships.

  • Conduct market research and analyze pricing trends.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports.

  • Work with our Legal team to initiate, edit, and finalize contracts (Statement of Work, NDA, etc.)

  • Help instill a procurement discipline across the company and be seen as a key finance partner.

  • Provide guidance to internal business partners on purchasing and contracts management policies and best practices for contracts, purchasing, and compliance processes.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Confirmed ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment under short timelines and changing priorities with significant levels of ambiguity.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.

  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and establish positive relationships.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Someone who emphasizes customer service and collaboration with internal partners.

  • Expertise in contracting, sourcing, negotiating, and supplier relationship management.

  • Experience working with external vendors/ parties

  • Good negotiating abilities.

  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office and G-Suite products

  • Someone who makes and recommends data driven decisions


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of applicable job experience in procurement or sourcing.

  • Vendor/Supplier management experience

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in finance, strategic sourcing, procurement, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in finance, strategic sourcing, procurement, or a related field.

  • Experience with Software and SaaS order forms and contracts.

  • Experience with Oracle ERP.

  • Experience with Ironclad contract management platform.

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPM).

  • Proficiency with AI tools.

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $98,000-$146,000 annually.


Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $93,000-$139,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $83,000-$124,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
