We’re looking for a Head of Manufacturing Operations, Chandler to join Snap Lab at Snap Inc!

The Head of Manufacturing Operations is responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient assembly and rigorous testing of Snap's display products. This role involves leading production teams, optimizing processes, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely delivery of components. An ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production operations, a strong background in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, and excellent leadership skills.

What you’ll do:

• Elevate the organizational impact and operational efficiency of the Component Operations team across Process and Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing throughout the Chandler, AZ manufacturing site.

• Develop organizational-level goals and drive commitments in partnership with cross functional teams within Snap Lab.

• Manage outsourced partners (OSAT and materials) including driving engineering requirements, yield drives and quality adherence.

• Build, mentor and grow a team of individual contributors.

• Influence key decisions and implementation of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for product engineering and manufacturing.

• Iterate quickly without compromising quality and raise the bar on operational excellence.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience with New Product Introduction.

• Develop and implement production plans to meet organizational goals and customer demands.

• Monitor production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives.

• Optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity

• Strong verbal, written, presentation, analytical and interpersonal skills.

• Leadership capabilities to drive and deliver results through motivating cross-cultural teams.

• Highly proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and statistical software.

• Strong analytical and problem solving ability. Appreciation of both practical and theoretical methodologies.

• Experienced in equipment selection, commissioning and process set-up.

• Knowledge of troubleshooting guides, OCAPs, working documentation, safety.

• Knowledge of quality systems and reliability assessment.

• Ability to collaborate strategically with all facets of an organization from leadership through to engineers, designers, and other cross-functional teams

• Ability to inspire and be an effective mentor to direct reports and cross functional teams

• Ability to execute against defined objectives both tactically and strategically

• Ability to initiate and drive emerging projects from strategy to completion

• Ability to communicate results clearly and effectively across a matrix organization

• A seasoned strategic leader and product-minded thinker

• A passion for Snapchat and creative problem solving!

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Materials or Physical Sciences

• 1+ Management experience, including experience leading cross functional teams

• 10+ Experience working in either a semiconductor or electronic assembly R&D or Engineering environment

• Experience leading medium and long term projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading global teams

• Master's Degree in Engineering or Business preferred.

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $202,000-$303,000 annually.

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $192,000-$288,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $172,000-$257,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
