We’re looking for a Senior Associate, Strategy and Operations, Carrier Partnerships to join Snap, Inc!
We are seeking an individual who is able to think strategically and long-term about driving growth opportunities with telecom carriers. You will be a part of a highly visible and strategic team working on growing Snapchat globally through these partnerships, and will take a leading role in analyzing the success of our partnership initiatives and providing strategic feedback on how we can evolve such partnerships going forward. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to analyze and identify opportunities to improve the performance of our app on different networks, scale our zero-rating and flat-rating partner programs with telcos globally, and manage the performance of our more strategic partnerships. You will also help support the development and refinement of our holistic partnerships strategy and our general global growth strategy as a company. You will report on these initiatives to the executive team and other internal and external stakeholders.
Working from our New York or Los Angeles offices, you’ll collaborate with leadership on the Mobile Telecom Carriers Partnerships team to achieve the following:
What you’ll do:
Analyze and investigate performance and engagement metrics related to our partnerships and initiatives with telco carriers and OEM manufacturers and provide actionable insights on improving the performance of such partnerships going forward
Develop our overall strategy for engaging carrier and OEM partners and develop new opportunities for value creation and collaboration with mobile partners
Work with our engineering team and carriers and cloud providers to proactively identify and resolve network performance issues
Report on these partnerships to the executive leadership team, cross-functional stakeholders, and external partners
Help develop scalable tools and systems to automate partnership reporting and analysis
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL and/or Python
Knowledge of Looker, Tableau, Data Studio, and/or other data visualization tools
Strategic thinking and strong verbal and written communication
Extraordinary analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual & analytical rigor and high attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise and impactful way – turning research & hard numbers into compelling stories and useful strategic insights to a variety of stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA in a technical discipline, or equivalent years of experience
4+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, preferably at a consulting firm, tech company, or telco carrier
1+ years of experience with SQL and/or Python
Experience building strategic documents, business cases and business models
Experience analyzing data to inform strategic decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
Fluency in one foreign language is a plus
Experience measuring campaign performance
Experience working or living in emerging markets
Strong interest in technology, social media, and international affairs
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a company, and particularly in working with technical and engineering teams

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $138,000-$207,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
