We’re looking for a Senior Associate of Strategy to join Team Snapchat! As a member of the Partnerships team, you will help drive cross-functional progress towards Snap’s highest priority initiatives. Our team oversees strategic partnerships, which includes directly managing corporate alliances, negotiating partner deals critical to Snap, and developing partner strategies to ensure the success and growth of internal and external initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and managing partnerships that can involve marketing, content, and technology components

  • Support the evaluation of the economic and strategic cost-benefit of partnerships

  • Contribute to written strategic recommendations to improve our partner strategy based on market research, internal and industry trends, and opportunity scoping and sourcing

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Operations, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and senior management to execute on the relationships

  • Assist in preparing internal stakeholders for executive partner meetings

  • Support the strategic objectives and interests of Snap on a global basis

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively while applying sound business judgment

  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously

  • Excellent oral and written skills to communicate complex issues and influence others internally and externally

  • Experience managing complex product integrations with third parties

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to communicate results clearly and effectively

  • Comfort with ambiguity and flexibility to work in an agile environment with changing priorities

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to gain trust of senior management and external executives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in strategic technology partnerships (e.g. corporate business development), corporate development, or corporate strategy

  • Negotiation experience, including identifying, developing, and executing successful partnerships such as strategic technology relationships and product integrations

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • JD/MBA degree

  • Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships to help navigate complex situations and foster long-term opportunities

  • Passion for big challenges and a growth mindset

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $138,000-$207,000 annually.


Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $131,000-$197,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $117,000-$176,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
