In this role as a Senior Brand Executive at Snap, you’ll be responsible for driving and owning specific projects within the team, coordinating necessary connections and conversations that need to take place in order to push the work forward, and becoming the subject matter expert across your domain within the brand management department. Depending on project scope, you may have the oversight of a more senior member of the Brand Management team, but you will work towards full project ownership. You’ll make yourself an essential go-to resource for the team’s efforts in both US and global initiatives. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives working with both local and remote teammates and has an intuitive sense for inspiring teammates across a broad range of cultures, audiences and moments. You’ll be expected to be efficient, speedy, and resourceful in shepherding work and projects cross-functionally and communicate in a concise way. You must be collaborative and possess a high level of professional integrity and confidentiality. You’re at ease working in a fast moving and ambiguous environment in which you will be responsible for owning your workstreams with a variety of stakeholders, and showcase excellent problem solving and communication skills, in order to drive impact across different teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate on a variety of projects, keeping a keen eye towards the needs of the brand and the strength of creative output(s)

  • Offer support to others within the team when necessary on key projects

  • Promote communication and collaboration across the multidisciplinary team within the Creative & Marketing group, ensuring a path to success for the creative idea

  • Work with teams on the process start to finish when crafting strategy, development and execution of integrated marketing plans, including organic and paid campaigns, both on- and off-Snapchat, with oversight from Head of Brand Management

  • Work on the end-to-end creative process with project management responsibilities and a keen eye toward resourcing needs and forecasting workstreams

  • Influence through others when collaborating internally and externally with creative teams to bring campaigns, programs and assets to life; demonstrate strong judgment and discretion

  • Bring strong knowledge and skills in the room to meet deadlines, workback timelines, must-do’s and must-knows for given projects (including but not limited to secondary messaging, deliverables list, legal feedback, XFN feedback, etc) and operate with truth across the workstreams you span

  • Surface and intake project opportunities from XFN teams, based on the Marketing Org’s predetermined business objectives

  • Work with cross-functional teams (including PR, design, external agencies, product, and growth stakeholders) to deliver world-class marketing communications for a range of initiatives

  • Collaborate with the media team to develop brand and performance-driven media plans that deliver our message effectively

  • Become a quick study of our media methodologies, analytics and testing/optimizing campaigns, as well as our internal processes for budget management

  • Quality check all documents and creative outputs for accuracy, spelling, efficiencies across workstreams, brand guidelines, et al.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Candidates should be detail-oriented and creatively focused.

  • Ideal candidates have spent time managing deliverables that span cross-platform and have experience guiding creative production of campaigns, printed collateral, presentations, websites, videos, and other marketing materials

  • Ideal candidates can perform as a generalist across the department to take ownership of key initiatives and support elsewhere, when needed

  • Experience working with creative teams in support/advancement of creatively-focused work

  • Able to own multiple small projects at once

  • Operates with some guidance and oversight, but works towards requiring limited guidance

  • Ability work cross-functionally with ease, clarity, and ownership

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees

  • Strong initiative, attention to detail and follow-through

  • Previous Snap experience a plus


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 5+ years experience in brand management or related roles

  • Knowledge of and experience with Snap Inc products

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $126,000-$189,000 annually.


Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$179,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $107,000-$161,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
