We’re looking for a Manager of Advertising Solutions​​ for Gaming industry to join our Large Customer Solutions team in China!

You will be leading a team of Account Executives and Account Managers working with our advertisers across the country. You will be tasked with helping us lead the go to market sales expansion strategy across the China region and collaborate with regional leaders, business marketing, legal, policy, product marketing, and creative strategy to ensure your industry is meeting their objectives. You will need to have natural leadership skills; the ability to coach, develop, and grow your direct reports; and strong partner & client facing skills. You’re expected to have a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem and a strategy on how they would accelerate growth in the country over the next year.

What you’ll do:

  • Have command of and be responsible for the growth of revenue for the Gaming vertical in your country and be able to inform stakeholders on trends and needs

  • Build & manage executive level relationships with key sales partners & advertisers

  • Hold your team accountable for revenue quotas. Define, measure, & deliver verticalized strategy

  • Develop alignment and collaboration with your leadership & other key stakeholders

  • Understand industry trends and translate into strategic opportunities to drive the business

  • Work with leadership to put together accurate forecasts and quotas

  • Determine individual quotas and account lists for team

  • Develop strategic insights, highlight opportunities, and provide structured reporting on performance in their market or market vertical

  • A deep understanding of the performance of top clients and a point of view on how they would accelerate growth in the vertical over the next year

  • Define the go to market strategy and be a Snapchat voice in the region for the vertical

  • Maintain deep expertise on Snapchat products and developments and leverage that understanding to identify cross-selling opportunities relevant to customers’ business goals

  • Conduct market analysis to identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities based on a deep understanding of your market and the business strategies of your customers

  • Build a culture of sharing and disseminate best in class work across the team and broader organization


Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization (internally and externally)

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Strong business sense and industry expertise

  • Experience in mentoring, coaching and people management skills

  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management

  • Strong network with Stakeholders in the Industry and a profound knowledge and track-record of the industry.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in a related area of study.

  • 10+ years of experience in media/advertising, managing a team, & in-depth knowledge of the China region and key advertising players

  • Experience working with compliance, legal, tax, & policy teams

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong existing relationships with top marketing decision makers in the industry

  • Extensive knowledge of Gaming vertical including industry trends, measurement and attribution approaches, and competitive product knowledge

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to build trust with C-level clients by understanding their business needs and tailoring communications

  • Experience in managing revenue & expanding to different countries across China

  • Passionate about Snapchat and up for the challenge
