We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our Detection and Response (D&R) team! As a member of the D&R Central Infrastructure and Tooling team, you will partner with security engineers to build tooling to increase the velocity and quality of investigations.
What you’ll do:
Build tooling to enable intelligence signals, gathering, processing and analysis at scale
Build State of the art mobile and desktop web software applications and/or systems
Work across teams to understand product requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver the solutions needed to build innovative products
Design and run development processes to optimize team output
Mentor junior full stack engineers, document your knowledge, and keep your team on the cutting edge of web development
You evaluate, appropriately test, and debug your work, striving for high quality
Advocate for and apply best practices when it comes to availability, scalability, operational excellence, and cost management
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Highly proficient with JavaScript (and/or TypeScript), HTML, and CSS
Highly proficient in Java, Golang, and/or Python
Strong Proficiency developing front-end software using Javascript UI Frameworks (i.e React, Angular, Vue)
Strong knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming principles
Strong understanding of domain driven design principles
Solid knowledge of unit testing
Extensive experience in front end design and/or web application development
Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
Comfortable navigating uncertainty and making strategic choices based on data to craft the perfect customer experience.
Ability to resolve team disagreements and find the best technical solution for the group.
You understand the operational aspects of internal tools and will participate in incident and resolution
You can independently execute on medium sized features, taking a few weeks and multiple PRs to complete
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of experience
7+ years of experience as a full stack software engineer
Preferred Qualifications:
MS degree in a technical field
An interest in threat intelligence or security focused environment
Large-scale microservices and distributed systems
Experience with NoSQL solutions, Memcache/Redis, Kubernetes, or Google/AWS services
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Deep understanding of the development process, expertise in testing techniques, and a drive to deliver top-quality work
Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $205,000 - 295,000 annually
Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $195,000 - 280,000 annually
Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $174,000 - 251,000 annually
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
