The Finance Team includes Business Partnership Finance, Accounting, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Finance to join the Finance & Accounting Team! Working within the Business Partner Finance team, you’ll be a key business partner to the commercial teams driving actionable insights/analytics and decision-making that results in achieving financial objectives of the business. The role reports to the Director of Finance for Snap’s international business and is based in our Singapore office.

What you'll do:

  • Be the key Finance partner and advisor to the APAC Regional President and the broader multifunctional leadership team across the region.

  • Collaborate with our International Sales team to support decision-making, develop reporting, and provide insights that translate into business recommendations.

  • Contribute to developing Snap Strategic Plan for the APAC region, as well as key markets’ business reviews.

  • Collaborate with Sales in the creation and oversight of the regional sales and supporting functions headcount investment plan.

  • Drive understanding of key business opportunities within the APAC markets. Provide management with clear insights into drivers of growth, risks, and size of the prize.

  • Oversight of profitability of the APAC markets and developing recommendations on how to improve both monetization models, as well as cost effectiveness. Share and reapply best practices between markets.

  • Finance leadership in developing the right go-to-market models by country/channel, providing visibility on sales force effectiveness and cost to serve.

  • Contribute to developing the strategy on how to benchmark sales productivity between APAC markets.

  • Be the on-site interface between the sales and Finance organizations to resolve finance related issues, including budget and forecasting, AP and AR, tax, credit line approval and other.

  • Manage revenue, expenses, and key business metrics within our international P&Ls. Build financial models to optimize investments. Develop analysis/tools to track business results and better understand key drivers of market performance.

  • Lead cross-functional or regional/global projects working with other Finance leaders as well as Sales, Product, Marketing, Content, Engineering and Data Science teams.

  • Develop and streamline finance processes to improve productivity, automate, mitigate risk and unlock value within the business.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience in acting as a regional Finance leader in a scaling, fast-growth organization. Ability to be self-directed, envision and establish new reporting, planning and forecasting processes from scratch. Confidence to act as a local leader despite time zone differences.

  • Experience partnering with senior executives on their financial planning and forecasting.

  • Proven track record to thrive in a multifaceted environment under short timelines and changing priorities.

  • Strong communication skills: meaning concisely communicates financials in an understandable way for non-Finance.

  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and establish strong relationships.

  • Expert-level financial modeling, quantitative and data analysis skills, with experience in building and operating financial planning tools.

  • Solid understanding of GAAP accounting, enabling an ability to understand and forecast intricacies within the income statement.

  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint and Google Docs/Sheets (SQL experience is a plus).

  • Experience within a publicly traded company leading FP&A, commercial or sales finance is highly preferred.

  • Track record of motivating and managing and developing people is preferred.

  • Experience in tech or digital media industries is preferred.

  • Occasional travel may be expected.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other Master’s degree

  • At least 3 years of Senior Finance Manager experience working in a multi-functional team supporting Sales, Marketing, Product and/or Supply Chain.

  • 3+ years of experience managing people and leading a team
