We’re looking for a Benefits Specialist to join the People Team!

What you’ll do:

  • Reporting to the Senior Benefits Manager, you will provide the best-in-class customer service for team members and be exposed to numerous aspects of HR, while having the opportunity to work on meaningful projects

  • Manage onboarding, Workday Benefits system administration and relocation administration.

  • Assist in tracking of benefit vendor performance, metrics, and deliverables, identifying service delivery issues and working with vendors to resolve

  • Compliance management; ensure the program is meeting all legislative requirements including, but not limited to 5500 filings, FSA discrimination testing, annual 401k audits, ACA reporting and required notices). Continually evaluate and inform on upcoming changes that may impact US Benefits.

  • Assist with the execution of system changes (e.g., testing updates, new configurations), identify recurring issues and partner with colleagues to affect solutions

  • Serve as a point of contact between Snap Inc. employees across the globe and the Benefits team

  • Manage escalated employee benefits issues and questions from team members.

  • Manage benefit audits to ensure accuracy of data in reports and data transmissions to third party vendors; collaborate with business systems counterparts for assessment and correction of discrepancies

  • Stay up-to-date with applicable employment-related federal and state statutory requirements and market trends

  • Assist with global benefits administration and well-being projects

  • Support Open Enrollment from start to finish (project management, communication support, Workday programming, etc.)

  • Assist in a variety of tasks which may involve research, creating presentations, maintaining databases and other duties assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 4+ years experience in benefits administration or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in managing Workday Benefits system

  • Strong expertise in quantitative analysis in Excel/Google Sheets

  • Proficient in Mac and Google applications (Drive, Sheets, Slides, and Docs)

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $98,000-$146,000 annually.


Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $93,000-$139,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $83,000-$124,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
