INSURANCE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

The Insurance Operations Coordinator is the main point of contact for agent and transfer calls to assist our teams in moving New Business applications through our platform for Advisors. Managing the New Business process and the transfer of funds for our advisors and their clients is at the core of Signal Advisors’ business. You will work with insurance carriers, agents, and Firelight, to make Signal Advisors’ New Business process and customer service the best in the industry.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

  • Act as the first point of contact to review and input application and transfer requests submitted by advisors, following our internal Signal processes
  • Own being the primary point of contact for transfer and inbound calls, instant chat requests for any New Business related questions from current and prospective advisor partners
  • Manage communication, both inbound and outbound calls, with carriers, Firelight, and ceding institutions to monitor and expedite the application process
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the annuity industry including product knowledge, industry trends, compliance issues, etc
  • Understand the application requirements and build relationships with advisors to be able to assist them with questions regarding our process

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Customer service experience over the phone
  • Insurance Industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of annuities, life insurance, and managed money preferred

SIGNAL HUBS

Signal Advisors is a remote company with team members all across the country. Over the years, we’ve realized the benefits and limitations of being fully remote. In order to foster culture and innovation that best serves our customers, a portion of our team is hybrid depending on their location. For this role, we require team members to be physically located in Detroit, or surrounding suburbs, or near one of our “Signal Hubs” across the US.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The US base salary for this full-time position is determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
