YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Business Solutions Consultant, you'll be part of the EMEA Value Engineering team. Value Engineering is key to the future success of Shift Technology as its team members are responsible for driving the adoption, implementation, and renewal of our solutions by our prospects and customers.

Active throughout the whole sales cycle, the Senior Business Solutions Consultant is critical in connecting dots between internal/external teams and leverage resources to help the sales team to reach their targets.

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant who personifies ownership and accountability in their daily engagements. Your Insurance expertise (P&C) and technical knowledge will allow you to present and set up business-driven technology solutions to prospective and existing clients from the Insurance industry.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will work closely with the Product, Project, Data Science and Sales teams to leverage industry knowledge to create crafted demos, with a continued focus on demonstrating Shift business value
  • You will be an active member of the client engagement team understanding the client needs and delivering compelling solutions throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
  • You will have the opportunity to work on all the P&C solutions (claims fraud detection, UW risk qualification, subrogation detection, claims management) and for all lines of business (motor, property, liability, travel, workers compensation…)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent knowledge of P&C insurance
  • 10+ years of experience as a full-cycle software Solution Consultant, ideally in SaaS.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders – from technical resources to C-level executive management personnel
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, is creative, disciplined, passionate and an out- of-the-box thinker
  • Expert relationship building, leadership, and presentation skills are a must
  • Ability to establish mutual expectations with customers
  • Ability to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audience
  • Expert coordination, organization, team building and communication abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to produce results working independently and as a member of a team
  • Developed problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in French and English

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
  • 30-minute video interview with our Talent Acquisition Specialist
  • 60-minute video interview with the Hiring Manager
  • 60-minute panel interview with a few stakeholders (Product, Data Science)
  • 1-hour final interview with our Head of EMEA for Go-to-Market
