We’re seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst to drive data visibility, reporting automation, and decision support across manufacturing, production, supply chain, quality, and finance. This role will play a critical part in enabling a metrics-driven environment by transforming high-volume operational data into actionable insights that improve throughput, material readiness, on-time delivery, and financial performance.
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, this role partners cross-functionally with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Software teams to build scalable reporting tools, operational dashboards, and analytical models that support both daily execution and long-term strategic planning. You will help define the data backbone that powers our next generation of factory operations.
What you'll own:
Operations Data Analysis & KPI Ownership (40%)
- Develop and maintain reporting across core operational KPIs including throughput, on-time delivery (OTD) %, first-pass yield rates, and financial performance.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze high-volume operational datasets from our internal production systems and external systems.
- Partner with operations leadership to translate business questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
Dashboarding & Visualization (30%)
- Build and maintain real-time operational dashboards using PowerBI, Tableau, Grafana, or similar visualization tools.
- Design executive-level reporting views alongside detailed functional dashboards for operations and finance teams.
- Drive adoption of dashboards as the primary source of operational performance visibility.
Data Automation & Systems Integration (30%)
- Automate recurring reporting and analytics workflows using SQL, Python, or similar tools.
- Optimize query performance and reporting pipelines for large production datasets
- Partner closely with internal software and data teams to troubleshoot reporting issues caused by schema updates, software releases, or system integrations.
- Contribute to scalable reporting architecture, data integrity initiatives, and cross-system data consistency across internal and external platforms.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative field
- 3-6+ years of hands-on experience writing advanced SQL queries on large datasets
- Experience building dashboards in PowerBI, Tableau, Grafana, or similar tools
- Experience automating reporting or analytics workflows using SQL, Python, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of database structures, schema design, and data integrity principles
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and operational teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively and be self-directed in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred
- Experience working in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, aerospace, automotive, or industrial environments
- Familiarity with ERP, MES, or production data systems
- Experience analyzing production throughput, capacity, labor productivity, or inventory performance
- Background in business analytics, consulting, or operational strategy roles
- Experience in developing cross function KPIs that drive action
Compensation:
- Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
- Salary Range: $90,000-$145,000
- This is an onsite role, with a preference for candidates based at our Cypress, CA facility. The role may also operate out of our headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA as needed.
