We are hiring a Recruiter to play a key role in scaling our manufacturing organization. Over the next year, we expect to significantly grow headcount and launch our second factory. This role will be central to supporting that growth.
You will own hiring for manufacturing teams, from high volume technician roles to critical positions across Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Production Leadership, and Operations. This is a full cycle recruiting role embedded in a production environment, partnering closely with manufacturing leaders focused on capacity, throughput, and quality.
We are looking for someone who can build durable hiring pipelines, move quickly without sacrificing quality, and make hiring decisions that support long term performance and retention.
What you'll own:
- Manufacturing Hiring
- Operate with a high degree of ownership in a lean recruiting team, setting priorities, and driving hiring outcomes with minimal overhead.
- Drive full cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried manufacturing roles including, but not limited to:
- Production and Harness Technicians
- Manufacturing Engineers
- Quality Technicians and Quality Engineers
- Production Leads, Supervisors, and Operations support roles
- Execute sustained high-volume technician hiring while maintaining hiring quality and retention.
- Partner closely with manufacturing leaders to influence hiring decisions and reset expectations based on market realities.
- Manage multiple open roles simultaneously in a high growth environment.
- Pipeline Strategy
- Proactively source candidates through outbound channels including LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, trade schools, and local workforce programs.
- Build and maintain pipelines for high priority and hard to fill manufacturing roles.
- Identify post hire performance gaps and adjust sourcing and screening accordingly.
- Adapt hiring plans as production needs and headcount priorities evolve.
- Hiring Quality
- Conduct structured screens focused on reliability, work ethic, and ability to succeed in a hands on production environment.
- Assess coachability, learning ability, and attention to detail.
- Partner with hiring managers to improve interview questions and selection criteria.
- Ensure hiring decisions are consistent and grounded in production realities.
- Operational Rigor
- Manage high candidate volume with strong organization, compliance, and candidate communication.
- Maintain accurate ATS data and recruiting metrics.
- Partner with People Ops to ensure smooth onboarding and day one readiness.
- Continuously improve recruiting processes to support scale and retention.
What you'll bring to the team:
- 3-5 years of recruiting experience with meaningful exposure to manufacturing or industrial hiring.
- Demonstrated experience hiring hourly technicians or skilled production roles.
- Comfort working in fast paced, operational environments.
- Strong sourcing capability with limited reliance on inbound applicants.
- Clear and direct communicator who can set expectations and push back when needed.
- High ownership, follow through, and attention to detail.
- Understands manufacturing labor market trends and translates them into practical changes in how we source, screen, and hire.
- Delivers a consistent and professional candidate experience, balancing speed, clarity, and respect in a high volume hiring environment.
Compensation:
- Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
- Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000
- This is an onsite role at our headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA or Cypress, CA.
