Role Overview:

The Quality Specialist role will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of harnesses and hardware to ensure compliance with internal, external, and industry specifications as well as developing and improving quality systems to ensure efficient and robust manufacturing. This role plays a key part in supporting production goals, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.

What you'll own:

  • Analyze quality metrics to identify trends and design solutions to eliminate or reduce non-conformances.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA).
  • Drive Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to closure, supporting disposition, approvals, and verification activities as required.
  • Conduct incoming inspections as required to support production timeline as well as support customer source inspections.
  • Focal in supporting customers in non-conformances by investigating, documenting, and resolving product and process issues, ensuring proper corrective actions are implemented and verified.
  • Create and maintain inspection documentation, including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), Inspection Reports, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), and End Item Data Packages (EIDPs).
  • Identify and lead process improvements that enhance product quality, reduce inefficiencies, and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Perform product testing on hardware as required to verify performance and quality.
  • Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to meet production deadlines and operational goals.
  • Review Engineering Master planning to ensure customer, industry and Senra build and quality requirements are captured and effective.
  • Support in internal and external audits.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Technical Degree in a related field preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in quality inspection, production, or manufacturing roles
  • Hands on experience inspection of harnesses to IPC-620 or NASA 8739.4 Class 3
  • Familiarity with inspection techniques, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action processes (CAPA).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and industry specifications.
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and non-conformance reporting (NCR) processes.
  • Strong documentation skills, with experience in creating First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), Certificates of Conformance (CoC), and End Item Data Packages (EIDPs).
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work onsite at our facility in Cypress, CA.

Bonus Points:

  • Hands on experience inspecting aerospace or defense hardware
  • IPC-620, IPC-610 and NASA-STD-8739.4 certified
  • Previous experience working at a fast-paced, high-growth startup

Compensation:

  • Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
  • Hourly Range: $34.00- $45.00
  • This is an onsite role at our new facility in Cypress, CA. Depending on start date, we will have you start in Redondo Beach then transfer to Cypress.
