IT Manager
Senra Systems
At Senra Systems, we believe that the future of manufacturing lies not in automation, but in configuration.
We supercharge electrical wire harness manufacturing through software configuration, transforming skilled assembly tasks into high-throughput production lines. We enable customers to design what they want, when they want it and deliver harness builds at record-breaking speed.
Senra Systems is hiring our first in-house IT Manager to take full ownership of IT across our new 80,000 sq. ft. Orange County manufacturing facility and our Redondo Beach HQ. This role will lead the transition away from our external IT vendor and establish the standards, processes, and infrastructure that will carry us through multi-site scale.
Reporting to the CTO, you’ll be hands-on from day one—designing network architecture, supporting factory equipment connectivity, managing endpoint security, and driving compliance readiness (ITAR, NIST 800-171, CMMC). You’ll support a mixed environment of engineers, technicians, and manufacturing systems, ensuring uptime, security, and a seamless user experience.
This is a high-ownership, execution-heavy role with real impact on production throughput, reliability, and company-wide effectiveness.
What you'll own:
- Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points) across both facilities
- Manage and improve IT operations across office and factory floor, including laptops, printers, servers, IoT devices, and production equipment connectivity
- Administer Microsoft 365 (GCC High) / Azure AD, user accounts, access control, and least-privilege permissions management
- Manage SharePoint document libraries and permissions to ensure confidential documents are handled in accordance with NIST 800-171 compliance requirements for Controlled-Unclassified Information (CUI)
- Manage single-sign-on integrations with third-party SaaS platforms
- Lead IT onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring secure, consistent setup of laptops, credentials, and permissions
- Implement and maintain IT policies for access management, data protection, and incident response
- Troubleshoot hardware, network, and software issues across a mixed office/shop environment
- Manage hardware inventory and asset tracking systems
- Identify and execute continuous improvements to uptime, reliability, and user experience
What you'll bring to the team:
- 5+ years of hands-on IT experience, including systems administration and network management
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and modern device management (Intune, JAMF, or similar) preferably in a Microsoft GCC High environment
- Experience configuring and maintaining routers, firewalls, VLANs, Wi-Fi access points, and site-to-site VPN connectivity
- Comfortable working across both corporate and factory environments: wiring, rack setup, label printers, IoT devices, and laptops alike
- Understanding of ITAR/NIST/CMMC environments or willingness to quickly ramp up in that domain
- Excellent organization and documentation habits; able to keep systems and processes tidy as the company scales
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth, high-ownership environment
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Power Automate, Python, or similar) for IT automation
- Onsite role across Cypress and Redondo Beach, CA (approx. 1 day/week in Redondo)
- Provide remote IT support for hybrid and offsite teams
- Occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 lbs
- Supports a production environment that operates as early as 7:00 a.m.; requires flexibility to provide early-morning or occasional after-hours support when issues arise
Bonus Points:
- Experience supporting compliance audits (NIST 800-171, CMMC, SOC 2)
- Familiarity with Google Workspace or hybrid environments
- Familiarity with Grafana for tracking and reporting IT-related metrics and logs
Compensation:
- Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
- Salary Range: $85,000-$120,000
- This is an onsite role at our new facility in Cypress, CA with occasional visits to our HQ in Redondo Beach, CA.
Benefits:
