As a Manufacturing Specialist, you will lead Senra’s most complex harness builds, owning first article production, process improvement initiatives, and technical training efforts. You will be the critical link between Engineering, Production, and Quality, helping to scale and optimize our
factory operations for growth.
What you'll own:
- Autonomously build first article, quick-turn, and highly complex electrical harness
assemblies for aerospace and defense customers - Responsible for most/all of the new production introduction manufacturing lifecycle—
authoring engineering masters, building mBOM’s, managing procurement efforts,
designing tools, executing the hardware build, and facilitating handoff to the Manufacturing
Engineering-Production team. Some tasks may include:- Developing first-time test programs, loading, and optimizing production
equipment - Building a first article manually to inform an automated product solution; training
Apprentice technicians to enable a handoff to Production
- Developing first-time test programs, loading, and optimizing production
- Providing solutions to streamline harness assembly and test processes
- Author work instructions, MBOMs, and support tooling design initiatives.
- Lead continuous improvement projects and production process optimizations.
- Bridge engineering feedback into actionable floor improvements.
- Train production staff on advanced techniques and new equipment.
- Conduct structured problem-solving (DOE, root cause analysis) to improve yield and
throughput.
What you'll bring to the team:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification (associates or bachelor's degree a plus).
- 7+ years of hands-on harness assembly experience.
- Expert in complex builds, advanced troubleshooting, and technical communication.
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 and/or NASA STD 8739.4 certification preferred.
Compensation:
- Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
- Hourly Range: $42.00-$52.00
- This is an onsite role at our headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA.
