ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.


It is an added advantage if you have experience in developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from establishing a customer contact till signing a deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities and contact potential clients

  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services, as well as customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

  • Build reports to present to the manager.

  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans


You will:

  • Produce qualified meetings for Sales that convert into pipeline opportunities

  • Achieve key metrics for sales growth on a monthly and quarterly basis

  • Learn how to navigate through an organization to get what you need

  • Ensure use and data integrity of Salesforce (CRM) and Sales Engagement Tool

You have:

  • Self-starter mentality with a well-developed interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational skills

  • The ability to not take NO as an answer

  • Exceptional communication and social media skills are necessary to create multiple access points into the market and prospect accounts

You have an advantage if:

  • Previous experience managing prospects and pipeline via CRM

  • Previous SaaS sales experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field

  • Experience: 1-2 years of Sales development experience, Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role

  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (eg: inbound, outbound, field sales)

  • Track record of achieving sales quotas

  • Excellent communication, and relationship-building abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Start up experience plus

  • Experience with CRM software.

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics

  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
