Position summary:
We are seeking a skilled commercial contract negotiation analyst/specialist with a legal background to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and supporting our business objectives. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong communication and negotiation skills, and strong legal prowess.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts including NDAs, master, supplementary agreements, channel partner agreements, and interoperability agreements.
- Participate in contract negotiations and internal strategic meetings.
- Ensure that contracts comply with all relevant legal requirements, corporate policies, and industry regulations.
- Respond promptly and accurately to business requests for advice related to contracts and offer guidance on interpretation and implementation of contractual terms.
Tasks & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 to 3 experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, channel partnership agreements, master sales agreements, and purchasing agreements.
- Law degree from an accredited law school, master of law is preferred.
- Provide legal support to internal business partners, including executive management, sales, purchasing, finance, customer service, human resources and other business functions.
- Respond to ad hoc queries to identify, analyze, and evaluate risks and provide appropriate risk mitigation and legal solutions.
- Ability to perform legal research and analysis across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong management, organizational and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and manage multiple projects in a corporate setting.
- Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures to commercial contracts.
- Highly motivated, independent, self-starter with ability to multitask and constantly prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to work with global teams and flexibility to work across various time zones.
- Experience in SaaS companies with International footprint and privacy laws would be preferred.
