Partner Sales Director will provide strategic direction, policy, and training support to the VP of Sales by directing and overseeing Securiti’s channel and Alliance sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. Sets short- and long-term channel sales strategies and evaluates effectiveness of current programs. Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential and provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
Leveraging our partners to drive growth, you will also work closely with sales, product management, engineering, and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage channel sales strategy and solution partner engagements for revenue generation in targeted markets.
Identify, qualify, develop, and drive partnerships with system integrators, distributors, consultants, and other channel partners.
Manage sales activities of partners to generate revenue.
Coordinate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals.
Analyze market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness.
Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements.
Educate partners about product portfolio and complimentary services offered.
Address partner related issues, sales conflicts, and pricing issues in a timely manner.
Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and identify new business opportunities.
Develop positive working relationship with partners to build business.
Stay current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities.
Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners.
Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities.
Work with partners to develop sale proposals, quotations, and pricings.
Deliver customer presentations and attend sales meetings and partner conferences.
Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns, and other promotional activities.
Requirements
Required Skills: • 5+ years of experience with channel partners and complex channel relationships (co-sale, resale, OEM/Licensing)
Built and maintained Channel programs for a Software/SaaS Company.
Strong background in Data Protection and Security preferred.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales channel development and marketing programs which result in revenue generation.
Proven sales ability including; pricing, relationship building and management and consultative selling.
Must be highly self-motivated and have the ability to work independently within company policy, targets, and budget.
Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with co-workers, clients, members, providers and customers
Solid coaching and leadership skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
25%-40% Travel Required.
Proficiency with Salesforce.com
