Be part of an exciting team of researchers, developers, and data scientists developing a new set of foundational technologies that will help enterprises navigate a new era of data privacy and protection regulations globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse the legal landscape and developments globally in the Data privacy and Data protection space; including EU GDPR, California CCPA, Brazil LGPD, Australia Privacy Act, etc.
  • Independently write articles that include
  • Overviews and comparisons of data privacy and protection laws of different jurisdictions.
  • Analysis of weekly developments globally in data privacy regulations such as case law, official decisions and guidelines by data protection authorities.
  • Liaise with attorneys and industry experts across the world, to co-author articles, review your written articles, etc.
  • Help collect and maintain a listing of websites that are authoritative sources of privacy regulations, official guidance, case laws, etc in different jurisdictions globally.
  • Actively source articles from above website collection manually and with tools; Organize articles by topics, jurisdictions, categories, etc.; Publish articles on the company’s privacy research portal.
  • Coordinate with product team members in US HQ on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Law or related fields.
  • Excellent comprehension capabilities; specifically, ability to read and understand privacy legal requirements; ability to analyse legal developments regularly.
  • Excellent legal research skills.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Ability to occasionally coordinate with remote teams outside of regular working hours.
  • Certifications in Privacy such as CIPP from organizations like IAPP are a plus.
