Job Description

Section is an AI transformation company that helps organizations get real value from generative AI. AI-powered workforces will have a sustained competitive advantage over the next decade, but most of the workforce is unprepared. We help organizations plan their AI transformation, upskill their workforce, and integrate AI into their workflows and business processes – all with the goal of driving real productivity gains and ROI. Our goal is to bring a million workers into the "AI class" by 2026.

As part of our growth, we are looking for an GTM Engineer to own and optimize our entire pipeline generation and sales engine. This role is an in-house operator who can move faster, think deeper, and deploy AI to create leverage across our sales and marketing motion. You'll bridge strategy and execution—building agents, automating workflows, and turning data into decisions that drive revenue.

What you'll do:

Your responsibilities:

Own pipeline generation strategy and technology:

  • Evaluate, select, and manage AI agent and other vendors

    • Lead vendor evaluation for AI SDR, chat, and support agents (inbound and outbound)

    • Manage ongoing vendor relationships to ensure we're maximizing platform capabilities

    • Own the buy vs. build decision framework

  • Train and QA AI agents with daily rigor

    • Lead 30-day intensive training cycles for each new agent deployment

    • Manually review agent outputs daily (emails, chat transcripts, qualification decisions)

    • Build and maintain QA scoring systems; flag underperforming agent responses for retraining

    • Document agent constraints: pricing floors, scope limitations, escalation triggers

    • Identify 'found revenue' opportunities—segments our human team isn't touching—and deploy agents to capture that pipeline.

  • Design hyper-segmented agent campaigns

  • Build specialized sub-agents for distinct audience segments (lapsed customers, closed-lost, warm leads, etc.)

  • Develop segment-specific training data, proof points, and objection handling

  • Maintain integrations between Salesforce and HubSpot, monitor pipeline health metrics, and identify bottlenecks in real-time. Replace manual processes with systems that scale.

Build AI solutions to support GTM execution:

  • Develop agents that analyze marketing content performance and generate optimization recommendations, draft proposals and sales collateral, create outreach sequences, and automate repetitive tasks across the sales and marketing workflow.

  • Deploy solutions in platforms like n8n, Zapier, and AI tools.

Provide data-driven insights for strategic decisions:

  • Analyze email campaigns, pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and rep performance. Build dashboards and reports that inform sales and marketing leadership. Translate data into actionable recommendations that improve outcomes.

Optimize the GTM tech stack:

  • Audit tools for redundancy and ROI

  • Ensure clean data flows between systems

  • Implement best practices for Salesforce and HubSpot configuration,

  • Streamline processes to reduce friction for sales and marketing teams

  • Own relationships with existing vendors Salesforce, Hubspot, 1Mind, Salesloft

Who you are:

Must-haves:

  • AI-first mindset: We are hiring AI-first candidates that have or will reinvent their role and tasks with AI for greater efficiency and quality.

  • 5+ years of experience in RevOps, Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, or a similar GTM operations role with direct responsibility for pipeline generation and tech stack management

  • Deep technical expertise in both Salesforce (CRM) and HubSpot (marketing automation)—you've built workflows, custom objects, reports, and integrations in both platforms
Hands-on experience building automations and integrations using platforms like n8n, Zapier, or similar tools

  • Experience deploying or managing AI/LLM-powered tools in a GTM context (AISDRs, chatbots, agents, or similar)

  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working with data: analyzing, cleaning, modeling, and visualizing to drive decisions

  • Strong written communication skills for developing agent personas, conversation scripts, and constraint documentation

  • Systems thinking: you understand the full buyer journey and can identify where automation creates leverage versus where humans add value

  • Operational rigor: you document processes, build repeatable systems, work autonomously, and own outcomes

  • Demonstrated ability to train AI agents through intensive daily iteration cycles (not just deployment)

Nice-to-haves:

  • BONUS: Python or JavaScript skills for custom scripts and advanced automations

  • Experience managing AI agent vendor relationships, including negotiating implementation support and holding vendors accountable to performance SLAs

  • Experience with AI SDR platforms (e.g., Artisan, 11x, Regie, AiSDR) or AI chat/qualification tools (e.g., Qualified, Drift, Intercom Fin)

  • Familiarity with agent orchestration challenges (multi-agent routing, preventing cross-agent conflicts, unified data flows)

What Success Looks Like at 90 Days:

  • 2-3 AI agents in production handling real pipeline work

  • Daily QA process established with documented scoring criteria

  • Clear ROI metrics tracked (response rates, meetings booked, pipeline sourced)

  • Vendor relationships established with FDE support in place

  • First "found revenue" segment identified and deployed

Compensation

Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 based on experience
