Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale projects and oversee site development as we expand operations in Austin, TX. You will be responsible for managing the planning, development, and execution of large-scale projects at our Austin Facilities. You will oversee facilities management, permitting, and the construction lifecycle, while navigating local, state, and federal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of additional facilities development in Austin Texas, from initial planning through execution and closeout
  • Own facilities improvements, including expansion, upgrades, and validation of existing infrastructure
  • Oversee permitting processes, coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance
  • Manage construction, infrastructure, and operational readiness projects
  • Define project scope, schedule, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Build and manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies
  • Develop and maintain risk management strategies to keep projects on track
  • Provide clear reporting and communication to company leadership and stakeholders
  • Drive operational readiness and ensure the Austin sites support company growth and DoD program requirements

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of project management experience, with significant exposure to large-scale facilities or infrastructure projects
  • Strong background in site improvement, facilities management, and permitting
  • Experience working with government agencies and navigating regulatory environments
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams concurrently.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects greater than $10 million
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or heavy manufacturing industries preferred

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasional standing and walking within the office and production environments
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports
  • Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds
