Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale projects and oversee site development as we expand operations in Austin, TX. You will be responsible for managing the planning, development, and execution of large-scale projects at our Austin Facilities. You will oversee facilities management, permitting, and the construction lifecycle, while navigating local, state, and federal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of additional facilities development in Austin Texas, from initial planning through execution and closeout
- Own facilities improvements, including expansion, upgrades, and validation of existing infrastructure
- Oversee permitting processes, coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance
- Manage construction, infrastructure, and operational readiness projects
- Define project scope, schedule, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Build and manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies
- Develop and maintain risk management strategies to keep projects on track
- Provide clear reporting and communication to company leadership and stakeholders
- Drive operational readiness and ensure the Austin sites support company growth and DoD program requirements
Qualifications
- 8+ years of project management experience, with significant exposure to large-scale facilities or infrastructure projects
- Strong background in site improvement, facilities management, and permitting
- Experience working with government agencies and navigating regulatory environments
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams concurrently.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects greater than $10 million
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or heavy manufacturing industries preferred
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasional standing and walking within the office and production environments
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
- Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports
- Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping
- Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds
