Job Summary:
The Security Systems Manager will manage a team of Physical Security Systems Administrators and Engineers to deliver a seamless and efficient employee office experience. This role involves the installation, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cloud-based access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems to support office operations and Saronic events. The ideal candidate is detail-orientedand experienced in managing large-scale systems installation projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Systems Administrators and Systems Engineers who install, program, maintain, and troubleshoot physical security systems.
  • Identify and implement training for team members.
  • Identify and obtain systems certifications, as necessary.
  • Manage large-scale systems installation projects to include budgeting.
  • Collaborate with Facilities and Workplace teams on system design and delivery in support of new-build projects.
  • Collaborate with IT for system design, installation, and troubleshooting to include network and power requirements.
  • Manage third-party installation and maintenance vendors.
  • Develop and implement processes for maximizing system up-time and minimizing business disruptions.
  • Track and reduce nuisance alarms.
  • Enable cutting-edge systems to optimize investigations and enable proactive detection and alerts.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer networking, or a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in physical security hardware and software installation and maintenance. Knowledge of physical security standards and compliance (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST 800).
  • Experience developing physical security system standards.
  • Experience managing Systems Administrators or Engineers.
  • Experience delivering large-scale security systems deployments.
  • Ability to collaborate across business units to deliver on-time installation of systems and troubleshoot malfunctions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Basic knowledge of network design and function.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems.

Work Environment:

  • This role will require working in construction zones. Up to 50% travel is expected and extended hours may be necessary to support mission-critical operations.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., system hardware).
  • Climbing ladders or entering a scissor lift to work at heights.
