Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Scrum Master to join our technology team in Austin, TX. You will play a pivotal role in guiding agile teams focused on Salesforce implementations and enhancements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading agile ceremonies, facilitating communication across teams, removing impediments, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. You will closely collaborate with stakeholders, developers, Salesforce administrators, product owners, and other cross-functional teams.
A strong background in Salesforce and Agile methodologies, as well as experience in enterprise environments, is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Agile Facilitation: Lead agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews. Ensure effective communication and alignment within and across Salesforce development teams.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, sprint planning, and resource allocation, ensuring timely completion of Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Impediment Resolution: Proactively identify, track, and remove obstacles that impede team productivity and efficiency. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the Salesforce teams, driving efficiency and effectiveness through retrospectives, feedback loops, and agile best practices.
  • Team Support and Coaching: Guide teams on Agile/Scrum practices, promote collaboration, and foster a culture of self-organization, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong communication with business and Enterprise Technologies stakeholders to ensure clarity of goals, manage expectations, and achieve alignment on project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, ideally with at least 2 years dedicated to Salesforce implementations.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is desired.
  • Experience with Salesforce technologies (Sales, Service, Field Service Clouds, etc.) and familiarity with Salesforce-specific development processes.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Agile tools such as Confluence and Copado CI/CD.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate discussions and manage diverse stakeholder expectations.
  • Proven ability to proactively manage risks, dependencies, and impediments within complex projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project needs.

Additional Information

  • This role will be 100% on-site at our Austin, TX location.
  • Occasional travel, less than 10%, may be required for stakeholder meetings or professional development.
