Requirements:
- Lead the engineering, design, development, and validation of safety, arming, fusing, initiation, integration, ESAD / ESAFs for defense applications.
- Oversee circuit layout, device characterization, prototype development, and testing.
- Define system architecture and translate customer requirements into hardware designs.
- Ensure compliance with military and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic safety systems.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 12+ years of experience.
- Proven leadership in electronic safety system and initiation system design.
- Expertise in safety, arming, fusing, initiation, integration of ESAD, ESAF, or ISD development.
- Experience with government safety regulations and standards (OPNAVINST 8020.14B).
- Experience with Safety hardware government specification (MIL-STD-1316, MIL-STD-331, MIL-STL-23659, etc.)
- Experience with Safety Electronic government standard is preferred (JOTP-051 to JOTP-53)
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (if required).
- Experience with defense electronics integration and testing.
- Multi-disciplinary engineering leadership experience.
