About the role:

Samsara is looking for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join our Business Systems team in India. This team makes our systems and processes more efficient, reduces manual work, and enables the company to run better. As a Sr. BSA, you will be a subject matter expert for our Supply Chain systems, responsible for managing day-to-day support and delivering enhancements for core applications like E2open.

This role is ideal for a professional with a deep understanding of the supply chain domain and hands-on experience with planning processes. You will work closely with business users, vendors, and internal IT teams to resolve incidents, implement system improvements, and ensure our supply chain systems operate smoothly in a global, cross-functional environment.This role does require flexibility to overlap with North American working hours for collaborative tasks.

This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in our Bangalore office and 3 days working remotely. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role. This position requires working hours in the IST time zone.

In this role, you will:

  • System Support & Operations: Provide Run-the-Business (RTB) support for E2open and other supply chain applications. Manage incidents, coordinate system upgrades, and perform root cause analysis to maintain system health and reliability.
  • Business Analysis & Solutioning: Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements from cross-functional teams. Design and implement forward-thinking solutions through system configuration and low-code/no-code customizations.
  • Project & Enhancement Delivery: Lead and participate in enhancement projects by coordinating with teams across North America and Asia for requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.
  • Process Improvement & Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for current processes and system configurations. Continuously identify opportunities to streamline workflows and drive a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams in Integration, Data, and NetSuite (NS) to ensure seamless system operations and data integrity.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with a focus on supply chain systems.
  • Deep understanding of Supply Chain management principles with hands-on experience in demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP.
  • Strong experience with Supply Chain modules, specifically Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Collaboration
  • Proven ability to gather business requirements, perform system analysis, and manage user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Flexibility for occasional overlap with North American working hours for collaborative tasks.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Direct experience with E2open modules
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, such as Propel.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in sprints.
  • Experience working with systems that handle sensitive data and follow formal change management processes.
  • A strong work ethic, with the ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
