Your impact will be highly visible and contribute directly to Samsara’s success in the market and overall business performance.

You should apply if:

  • You’re energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Sales to establish new pricing operations rhythms and practices
  • Evaluate and understand the impacts of pricing & packaging adjustments and collaborate cross-functionally to recommend strategy adjustments
  • Deeply understand Samsara’s products and competitive positioning in the market
  • Plan and conduct quantitative and qualitative research to strengthen factbase in support of long-term Pricing strategy
  • Work with Samsara’s Product Managers to establish pricing recommendations for new and emerging products
  • Share insights and reporting that will support quarterly and annual R&D planning processes
  • Proactively identifying new opportunities for monetization and syndicating with Product teams to develop market-winning solutions
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
  • Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 7+ years of experience in pricing, strategy, analytics, and technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfort addressing and influencing an Executive audience
  • Data-driven storytelling with an ability to synthesize data into actionable insights for the business
  • A track record of driving strategic programs across an organization
  • Technical acumen to grasp technical concepts and successfully engage with product & engineering teams
  • Experience working directly with Enterprise customers
  • Experience hiring, developing, and supervising people as a direct manager
