In this role, you will:

• Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue sourcing, contract management, timeline planning and overall project management.
• Oversee all onsite logistical aspects of the events, including A/V, food and beverage, facilities set up/breakdown, collateral production, and on-site coordination.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, vendors, and participants to ensure clear information flow and a smooth execution process.
• Manage multiple concurrent events/programs with overlapping schedules.
• Manage vendor budgets, reconciliation, & expenses and notify manager of status.
• Understand Samsara’s brand and collaborate on and contribute to developing overall event experiences that reflect it
• Bring energy, creativity, and new ideas to build and grow our in-person certification program
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

This role is open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Area (125 mi. radius from 1 De Haro St, San Francisco) and NYC Metro Area (50 mi. radius from 131 W 55th St, New York).

Minimum requirements for the role:

• 3+ years of experience in event marketing, people operations, and/or project management
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required along with the ability to travel 20% of the time for live events

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Extraordinary attention to detail and able to run multiple concurrent project demands within established timelines
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
