- Develop a deep understanding of our patients and healthcare professionals, translating qualitative and quantitative insights into meaningful, evidence-based experiences.
- Make smart tradeoffs by balancing business goals, product requirements, and patient needs to deliver impact without sacrificing craft.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Clinical to shape strategy, scope work, and run experiments that drive learning and outcomes.
- Inspire and influence teams and leadership through compelling storytelling, clear design rationale, and effective demonstrations of vision.
- Contribute to the Ro Design System, ensuring it reflects human-centered principles, scales across products, and is trusted by designers and engineers.
- Coach and mentor designers, elevating both craft and collaboration across the team.
- Balance systems thinking with pragmatic execution, navigating constraints while maintaining design integrity.
- Champion a patient-centric mindset across the organization, advocating visually and verbally for user needs.
- Contribute to a culture of feedback, innovation, collaboration, and no-ego teamwork.

- Strong product thinker who partners deeply with Product Managers to define and drive strategy.
- A collaborative team player with no ego, who takes feedback well and uses it to elevate the direction of the work.
- Deep care for the details — sweats the small stuff and advocates for design quality at every level.
- Experience working in rapid-release environments alongside product, engineering, data, and research partners.
- A track record of solving ambiguous, complex problems with elegant, user-centered solutions.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence at every level, from peers to senior leadership.
