At Resilience, we’re creating a new category that is integrating cybersecurity, cyber insurance and enterprise risk management.
Who you are
We’re looking for an experienced marketing copywriter contractor who loves working across channels to create persuasive and engaging content that tells Resilience’s story and promotes our products. You will serve as a voice of the company across all mediums - including LinkedIn social content, web pages, video ads, sales collateral, email campaigns, and blog posts. In a small team as part of a growing startup, we are looking for a great “athlete” who has the mindset, the will, and skills to work flexibly in a growth environment vs. someone who prefers focusing on just one thing.
Your environment
You will be part of a team of branding, communications, and content experts helping articulate Resilience’s mission, values, and products. Given we are a high-growth mid-stage startup without big company silos, you have to be comfortable working with and participating in our broader marketing activities. You can work with the agility and evolution of a startup where we are always figuring things out.
What you will do day-to-day
You will be tasked with creating written materials that encompassing cyber insurance, cybersecurity, AI, and various other cutting-edge technical solutions.
This is a hybrid position in the following locations: New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington DC/ Baltimore.


  • Write, edit, repeat. From short-form content like social captions to clear, creative campaign content, website landing pages, product pages, emails, brochures, and more.
  • Develop short-form digital/ social content video scripts and pitch campaign ideas. Help concept our next big B2B brand campaign, and bring it to life.
  • Find the most urgent, compelling insights that will change our client’s perception of our brand and how they think about our category.
  • Become obsessed with audiences—how they think and what will change their minds. Study them so that you can write for them. Do the hard work so they don’t have to.
  • Support a fast-moving marketing team with strong written content and a bias toward execution.
  • Work with product managers, product marketers, sales, and senior executives to develop high-level messaging and content that generates results.
  • Continually seek creative opportunities to push our brand story and personality through all paid, owned, and earned channels.


  • 6-10 years of relevant experience as a B2B Copywriter, including video, social, digital ads, website, etc.
  • Experience with UX or UI design
  • You’ve got a serious passion for writing killer headlines and turning complex industry jargon into something human and interesting.
  • You're great at short-form copy that gets people energized in a few, mighty words.
  • You're able to pick up a brand's voice and stay committed to learning and understanding the way the tone and voice are expressed across the brand. You don't shy away from asking questions, learning new things, and sharing your ideas.
  • You are a team player that is eager to brainstorm and create new content ideas to grow brand awareness through compelling marketing campaigns.
  • You are comfortable working independently in a hybrid work environment, managing content requests from Marketing and other departments.
  • You have an ability to independently research and quickly understand unfamiliar topics, issues, and technical concepts.
  • You have a meticulous attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
  • A portfolio of writing/content samples is required.
  • Bachelor's degree; or applicable work experience.
