What this job can offer you

This is a pivotal time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space. As Senior SEO Manager, you will own the global organic growth strategy at the intersection of traffic acquisition and user experience, joining our Growth team to drive the holistic health and performance of our global digital presence. You will be the organisation’s authority on tech SEO, ensuring our site architecture, crawlablity, indexation, and performance are built to support long-term organic growth.

We are looking for a multidisciplinary expert who can not only masterfully rank our brand for strategic terms but also knows how organic search can drive measurable business outcomes. You will lead a team of SEO specialists, content creators, and external vendors to bridge the gap between "getting found" and "converting."

What you bring

  • Experience: several years in SEO and digital marketing, with a few years in a leadership or team management role (in-house or agency). Experience with content management systems (CMS).
  • Expert-level Tech SEO Knowledge: High technical fluency in SEO (including speed optimisations, schema, site architecture, RegEx, crawlability) combined with a deep understanding of UX best practices.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in SaaS or B2B marketing, with an evolving knowledge of SEO algorithm updates and AI-driven search trends.
  • Analytical Mastery: Highly proficient in SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and data visualization tools. Ability to use data to make decisions, think at scale, and implement repeatable processes.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
  • Mindset: A "bias toward action" and a passion for continuous improvement in a fluid, high-growth environment.
  • Language: Fluent English (written and spoken).

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Growth SEO/GEO Strategy: Define and execute Remote's global organic roadmap, including SEO and GEO. Align organic visibility goals with business objectives (MQLs and new customers) across all solutions and services. Develop early-stage GEO strategies.
  • Technical SEO & Site Performance: Drive technical SEO excellence. Partner with the Web Engineering team to influence site architecture and rendering, monitor technical site health, mitigate risks, and drive web speed optimization (Core Web Vitals) to improve both search rankings and user retention.
  • Content & Intent Alignment: Collaborate with the content production team to ensure evergreen content is not only optimized for searcher experience but also mapped to the marketing funnel to drive action.
  • International Scaling: Manage international SEO initiatives, working with the Localization team to ensure brand voice and conversion paths are effective across global markets.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Lead and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Product, Engineering) and manage external agencies for technical SEO and digital PR projects.
  • Data-Driven Reporting: Own the reporting for organic channels. Quantify KPIs like organic traffic, keyword dominance, and SEO traffic-to-lead conversion rates to demonstrate ROI to leadership.
  • Link Building: Execute link-building activities to ensure quality links from reputable sources.
