Team:

As a Launch Pad Technician, you will be in the forefront of creating a world class orbital launch site. In order to be successful in this role. Ideally, you are someone who can come into a fast paced, aerospace environment, having completed difficult projects while collaborating effectively across various groups. The ability to perform work at the highest quality with minimal direction is key.

What you’ll do:

Work closely with the Pad team and engineering to build and operate Relativities next launch pad.

What you need to know:

  • Strong attention to detail, desire to solve problems, and drive to resolve technical issues
  • Must possess a strong work ethic, prove ability to follow direction, and meet expectations
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface with software systems, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights as needed
  • Must be able to lift 40-lbs
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to operate hand tools (drills, band saw, grinders, mag drill, etc.)
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment (forklift, reach-lift, man-lift, etc.)
  • Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing systems

Nice to haves but not required:

  • Experience operating pressurized systems
  • Experience with cryogenics (tanker offloading and operating systems)
  • Experience with lifting and crane operations
  • Experience as a technician, mechanic, or carpenter a plus
  • Experience with general facility maintenance
  • Experience/knowledge in constructions/demolition activities
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment (forklift, reach-lift, man-lift, etc.)
  • Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing systems
