The Stennis team at Relativity Space is responsible for designing, building, and operating world-class test stands to support the Terran 1 stages, engines, and propulsion components. As part of this team, you will support logistics efforts to ensure the team has the necessary goods and materials to effectively and efficiently operate and you will be able to witness rocket engines firing up close and personal! Check out this <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBZkSgO4oZQ">video</a> to learn more about our Stennis team. </p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <p>The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded logistics professional that can support multiple functions including general shipment coordination, receiving inspections, and inventory management support. The candidate must be a self-starter working with the test team to build world class shipping, receiving, and material handling processes.</p> <p>Your role will be to support shipping and receiving activities on a daily basis while helping to develop and implement sitewide inventory and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) improvements. </p> <p>To help achieve our ambitious goals, as Logistics Specialist you will:</p> <ul> <li>Pick, lift, organize, and move standard hardware, raw material, purchased parts, machined details, and assemblies to support test facility</li> <li>Responsible for the safe loading/unloading of equipment/items as warranted</li> <li>Route and deliver items to appropriate departments</li> <li>Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you need to know:</strong></p> <p>Minimum 1+ years of experience in logistics, inventory, or material handling role is required.</p> <ul> <li>ERP system experience (LN, Oracle, SAP).</li> <li>Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.</li> <li>Capability to operate a forklift and other related warehouse equipment</li> <li>This role may require you to lift packages which may weigh up to 50lbs</li> <li>Able to stand for extended periods of time</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="none">Relativity Space offers competitive salary and equity, a generous vacation policy, </span></strong><strong><span data-contrast="none">an annual </span></strong><strong><span data-contrast="none">L&amp;D stipend and more! </span></strong></p> <p><strong>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
