Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Project Manager who provides leadership for moderately-complex to complex engineering programs and projects, managing their lifecycle from planning and design through delivery and operational handoff. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards while coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, field operations and with the client. The Project Manager monitors project performance, manages risks, and maintains strong stakeholder relationships while supporting process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

As a Project Manager, you will lead moderately-complex/complex engineering programs and projects from planning and development through delivery and operational handoff. Your responsibilities will include:

Project Leadership

  • Manage engineering projects with precision, ensuring they are accomplished safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, achievements, and resource requirements.
  • Support project governance, including status reporting, team meetings, and collaborator updates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and field teams to ensure flawless project execution.
  • Participate in build reviews, technical risk assessments, and constructability reviews.
  • Support resolution of technical or operational challenges during project execution.

Collaborator Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-level collaborators, including internal teams and clients.
  • Communicate project status, risks, schedule impacts, and mitigation plans clearly and professionally.
  • Support customer meetings and issue resolution activities under the mentorship of senior leadership.

Budget & Schedule Management

  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and prioritization of resources.
  • Monitor project performance and report on financial and schedule metrics.
  • Support cost estimating, contract reviews, and change management processes.

Risk Management

  • Identify technical, operational, or scheduling risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Support problem-solving and corrective action efforts for project-level challenges.
  • Maintain project risk documentation and provide updates to leadership as required.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Support implementation of process improvements, Lean principles, and project management guidelines.
  • Participate in lessons learned sessions and contribute to operational standardization.

What You Bring

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related engineering team, or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of advancing experience in engineering and project management.
  • Experience managing complex industrial, automation, process, or capital equipment projects.
  • Understanding of mechanical/process system build and project execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical teams and manage project deliverables.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) and engineering/build software.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • PMP or Lean/Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, energy, or industrial manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with FEL methodologies and EPC/project delivery models.

Compensation Range: The base salary range for this position is $106,563.77 – $159,845.65 per year. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
