Re:Build Manufacturing
Who is DAPR Engineering and Re;Build Manufacturing?
DAPR Engineering, LLC, a part of Re:Build Manufacturing, is an engineering design and analysis consulting firm in Nashua, New Hampshire. We work with customers across many industries to develop and deliver turnkey industrial machines to meet their unique requirements. We develop custom automation solutions, work with OEMs to develop industrial products, and provide engineering analysis using FEA tools.
At Re:Build Manufacturing we're rebuilding America's manufacturing base and creating meaningful, sustainable jobs in areas that have been deindustrialized over the past 20-30 years. Our strategy is to employ technology, systems, deep financial resources, and best management practices to compete and win as manufacturers in the global market. We are NOT private equity. We do not buy companies with the intention of selling them. Over the next decades we want to make a difference in the US Manufacturing economy and the communities in which we operate. We believe in the power of people and the long-term competitive advantage that can be derived from helping our employees achieve their fullest potential.
Who We Are Looking For
A seasoned Senior Sales Engineer who brings deep technical expertise and a consultative, customer-first approach. You have spent years working in environments centered on industrial machinery, control systems, or engineering services and are comfortable serving as a trusted technical advisor to customers.
You thrive in customer-facing roles, enjoy transforming complex requirements into precise technical scopes, and know how to balance engineering rigor with commercial realities. You are equally comfortable on a plant floor, in a technical review, or collaborating internally with engineers and business leaders. If you enjoy shaping solutions early, influencing how projects are defined, and helping customers see what’s possible, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Get to Do
- Serve as the technical face of the organization for prospective and existing customers in industrial and automation markets
- Lead discovery conversations, intake calls, and site visits to understand customer goals, constraints, and success criteria
- Translate customer needs into clear technical scopes, assumptions, functional outlines, and solution concepts
- Develop ROM and detailed cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments in partnership with engineering teams
- Create proposal-ready concepts, layouts, and visuals to support technical and commercial storytelling
- Prepare accurate, compelling quotations for automation projects and engineering services
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, controls, and systems engineers to align solutions with customer expectations
- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and contributing to strategic account growth
- Stay current on automation technologies, manufacturing processes, and industry trends
- Provide ongoing feedback to leadership on market needs, customer pain points, and service offerings
What You Bring to the Team
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in industrial equipment, automation integration, or engineering consulting services
- Demonstrated success developing technical proposals, quotations, and customer-facing solution concepts
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex systems clearly
- Capable of interpreting drawings, specifications, and system-level requirements
- A consultative, analytical approach to problem-solving and customer engagement
- Experience collaborating across engineering, project management, and commercial teams
- Comfort managing multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed (regional up to 40%, non-regional 10–15%)
- Bonus: experience with CAD or visualization tools, industrial controls, robotics, PLCs, or a PE license
