What You Get to Do
- Conduct basic MIG and stick welds in flat and horizontal positions while being supervised.
- Assist with the setup and operation of welding machines, tools, and fixtures.
- Assist with layout, fit-up, and tack welding by referencing basic shop drawings and weld symbols.
- Help with pipe/tube prep and alignment; observe stainless steel welding procedures.
- Participate in visual weld inspections and learn to identify common defects.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment, following OSHA and 5S standards.
What You Will Bring to the Team
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Completion of a recognized welding program or apprenticeship.
- Basic knowledge of welding tools, procedures, and safety practices.
- Proven skill in welding in flat and horizontal positions.
- Capability to comprehend and adhere to basic shop schematics.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in advanced welding and fabrication techniques.
