As an HR Director, Latam, you will lead the HR Business Partnership function to align human capital with business goals, fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture where the employee journey is prioritized at every touchpoint. You will be part of the Global HR Leadership Team representing Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Mexico and Chile.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing the global HR agenda and overseeing all HR matters of the Latam sites of 300+ employees in over 5 countries (Colombia, Argentina, Perú, México and Brasil).
  • Leading a team of HRBPs across Rapyd’s functional units on a regional scale.
  • Serve as a key member of the Global HR leadership team, working in close collaboration with the Global HR team. In this capacity, you will be responsible for representing and advocating for Latam's specific issues, challenges, opportunities, and overall needs within the global forum.
  • Working closely with leaders and management on all HR related topics and procedures, such as workforce planning, change management, performance management, organizational design changes, talent mobility, termination discussions and more.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to regional leadership on complex employee relations and change management.
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence (CoE) like Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, and Knowledge Management to enhance and implement Latam´s HR strategy. This collaboration aims for talent and organizational excellence, facilitating scalability while upholding our high-performing culture.
  • Developing and steering HR strategies, identifying appropriate solutions and ensure their implementation within the broader HR guidelines and framework of Rapyd
  • Champion Latam's Employee Experience (EX) initiatives, overseeing engagement initiatives and "Staff Care" programs that promote well-being and psychological safety.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive professional HR advisory experience with experience.
  • Demonstrated success providing HR counsel to groups of 300+ employees at multiple organizational levels, cultures and locations within a regional or global environment strongly preferred.
  • Experienced working in a fast paced environment, fintech or startups, leading integrations or scaling up business operations is a plus.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, performance management and delivering individual and group training.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law on Latam (Colombia, Argentina, Perú, México and Brasil), compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, and training and development
  • Strong collaborator with effective interpersonal and analytical skills who can work seamlessly across countries, cultures, and organizational units required
  • Inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required Portuguese is a nice to have
